A note from the founder of the site:
When we first started to design a web site about Paradise and the Ridge during the fall of 1995, we had no idea what it would grow into by becoming the foundation for Paradise and the Ridge on the World Wide Web. We are proud to say OnTheRidge.com is the most comprehensive and informative website about Paradise and Ridge communities.

Our [old] Mission Statement further explains our goal: "To present Paradise, California and neighboring Ridge communities to everyone looking for a Paradise environment. To focus on useful, entertaining information about the area, its history, culture, people and businesses. To give those who left the Paradise area special memories."

The web site made headlines in 1996 as a featured article in the Paradise Post, and in 1999 and 2000 provided the major content for the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce Relocation Guide.

If you are a frequent visitor, you will see we are constantly adding new content and new features. You will be seeing new makeovers from time to time so as not to be bored with the same look.
